The decoration at the hostel was lovely, with a cozy and modern ambiance. The common areas were well-maintained and provided a comfortable place for seniors to relax and socialize. I particularly enjoyed the garden, where I could sit and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The hostel's accessibility was also a plus for senior guests like myself. It was conveniently located near public transportation, making it easy to explore the city and visit tourist attractions.
A suggestion for a better vacation for senior people would be to have staff available to assist with transportation from the bus or train stations to the hostel. It would be helpful if the children working there could offer this service to ensure a smooth and hassle-free arrival for senior guests.

As a solo traveler staying at Backpacker 41 Hostel, I was delighted by the quiet neighborhood and easy access with codes instead of keys. The pantry area added a cozy touch and the bathroom slippers were a lifesaver on those icy cold floors. The lounge/kitchen area was a great place to relax, and the location was conveniently close to the river and the famous miyahara ice cream place. The cleanliness was impressive, and the bed was super comfortable.
I highly recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at Backpacker 41 Hostel and had an amazing experience. Hiro, the staff member, was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing insider information about the area. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were not overcrowded. The lounge downstairs was a nice place to relax. I appreciated the free coffee and tea, as well as the option to do laundry at a fair price. The WiFi was reliable and there was plenty of space to hang clothes to dry.
I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I absolutely loved the charming decoration at the hostel. The common areas had a warm and cozy atmosphere, with beautiful artwork and comfortable seating. It truly felt like a home away from home. , I found the hostel to be easily accessible for senior people like myself. The location was convenient and close to public transportation, making it easy to explore Taichung.
The only thing I would ask for to make the vacation even better for senior people is if the children working there could provide more assistance and guidance. Sometimes, I felt like they were not attentive enough and it would have been helpful to have their support, especially for seniors unfamiliar with the area.
